Our design process is as follows: | |
| |
| |
Step 1 : Discussion and Analysis
A discussion
with you is crucial to understand your business needs, wants, objectives,
audience and competitors. Your short and long term goals,
the more information we gather now the better equipped we will be to meet
your requirements.
Once we have
planned the objective and aim of your project we conduct research
on your industry's marketing methods, trends, and what your competitors are
doing. What animations, multimedia, Flash, any setting up of databases,
ecommerce and online shopping cart systems, forms, cgi scripts, page links,
sound, video, are required etc.
Once this is
completed we will draft a project proposal for your approval. Once this
proposal is agreed and signed off, the project can commence into the next
phase, creative design.
| |
| |
| |
Step 2 : Creative Design
For clients who
choose to create a customised design for their business, we practice a 'blank
sheet' approach to your needs. With the approval of our proposal, we will
provide the client with several design solutions encompassing, where
appropriate, navigation, look and feel, structure and content presentation. The
designs will be based on the best possible solution to your business. A
brainstorm session ensures a creative, fresh and effective approach to the
design phase with assurance that our ideas can be implemented on the Internet.
Your guidance to the team is vital to ensure that your goals and specific
requirements are met. This is the stage where we really get to know your likes
and dislikes. Once we are in agreement, we move onto the design review.
| |
| | | |
Step 3 : Design Review
Following the
creative design process is the design review. This is when we review the
creative idea to see if it is practical and flexible. The idea must promote your
business brand effectively. Your target audiences must be able to interpret and
understand the business message in your advertising materials. If we haven’t
quite got it, we go back to step 2, and again to three until we have.
Once design is
agreed and signed off by the client, the project can then commence into the next
phase which consists of the build, programming, and production.
| |
| |
| |
Step 4 : Production
Once a design
idea is agreed upon, the production of graphic and content begins. Realistic
timescales will be implemented, design and technical briefs, roles and
responsibilities, timetable for content delivery etc. Quality of graphic work
and layout of content is strictly controlled to ensure the best results. You
will be included on the progress of work, and will have the opportunity to add
new ideas or changes.
| |
| |
|
|
Step 5 : Testing & Launch
All final
projects will be tested on our systems to ensure there are no errors. Can the
product be improved, is the design user friendly, and is navigation logical,
does it meet your needs and objectives, is content presented appropriately? Does
it look consistent across all platforms and major browsers; does it function as
it should?
In the end this will ensure your viewers an enjoyable, bug-free experience.
